Guardian Unlimited | Arts news | Archaeologists find 1,400-year-old tomb of Anglo-Saxon king: "subsequent discovery of an Anglo-Saxon king's burial chamber complete with a lavish collection of treasures was more than any archaeologist would hope to find beneath a verge in the Southend suburb. "

That's way cool.
Doug Arellanes asks a very good question, to which I don't know the answer. I confess I feel bad that after having accepting membership in the Fistful of Euros group blog and haven't had time to write very much that's smart-sounding, now that I'm spending most of my time programming the stock management software at the cafe. Hopefully this weekend, on the topic of gay partnerships (what with Massachusetts and all).

This is sort of funny.

Ananova - Janet Jackson's boob makes internet history

So it's not just me. (My girlfriend sent me that link.)

We have a new manager at Tulip named Klara. She is extremely promising. Please be nice to her during this transition period. Also, we've extended the "Winter Delights" to Tuesday and Wednesday as well, so we're now serving nice dinners Tuesday through Saturday from 6pm. Mnam. (Sorry, can't get that hacek to appear.)
